Terms & Conditions

Terms for using BrightPath Tuition

These terms explain how our tuition services, website, bookings and communications work. Please read them carefully before using our services.

Last updated: May 2026. By using the BrightPath Tuition website, submitting an enquiry, booking an assessment or arranging tuition, you agree to these terms.

1. About BrightPath Tuition

BrightPath Tuition provides structured tuition for UK students, including private tuition, small-group tuition, assessment bookings, tutor recruitment and parent communications. These terms apply to our website, enquiries and tuition services unless we agree something different in writing.

2. Tuition services

We offer tuition programmes for Primary, 11+, KS3, GCSE and A-Level students, delivered online, in person or through a combination of formats depending on the programme agreed with you.

Programme details, session frequency, subjects covered and pricing are confirmed before tuition begins. We aim to match students with suitable tutors and groups, but availability may vary.

3. Bookings and assessments

Free assessments and enquiries submitted through our website or by email do not create a binding tuition agreement until programme details, fees and start dates are confirmed with you.

We may decline or postpone a booking where we cannot meet a safeguarding, capacity or suitability requirement. We will explain the reason wherever possible.

4. Payments

Fees, payment schedules and any deposits will be communicated clearly before tuition starts. Unless otherwise agreed, fees are payable in advance or in line with the payment plan provided to you.

Failure to pay agreed fees may result in sessions being paused or cancelled. Any refund arrangements will be explained at the point of booking.

5. Cancellations and changes

If you need to cancel or rearrange a session, please contact us as early as possible. Our cancellation notice requirements and any applicable charges will be set out in your programme confirmation.

We may need to cancel or reschedule sessions due to tutor illness, safeguarding concerns, venue unavailability or other operational reasons. We will aim to provide reasonable notice and, where appropriate, a replacement session.

6. Attendance

Regular attendance helps students make progress. We monitor attendance and may contact parents or guardians if a student is unexpectedly absent or if persistent non-attendance raises a welfare concern.

7. Conduct and behaviour

We expect students, parents, guardians and tutors to behave respectfully and follow BrightPath Tuition standards at all times. We do not tolerate bullying, harassment, discriminatory behaviour or conduct that disrupts learning or puts others at risk.

We may suspend or terminate tuition where behaviour breaches our safeguarding or professional standards, following a reasonable review of the circumstances.

8. Safeguarding

Safeguarding is central to everything we do. Tutors are vetted in line with our safeguarding procedures, and communication with students should take place through approved channels.

To report a safeguarding concern, contact safeguarding@brightpathtuition.com. Further information is available on our Safeguarding & Policies page.

9. Online and in-person sessions

Online tuition requires a suitable device, internet connection and a safe, supervised environment for the student. Parents or guardians remain responsible for the student's welfare during online sessions unless otherwise agreed.

For in-person tuition, students must arrive and leave safely, follow venue rules and behave appropriately. We may update session locations or formats where necessary for safeguarding or operational reasons.

10. Website use

You may use our website for lawful purposes only. You must not attempt to interfere with the site, submit false information, misuse our forms or copy content without permission.

Website content is provided for general information. While we aim to keep information accurate and up to date, programme availability and details may change.

11. Limitation of liability

Tuition supports learning, but we cannot guarantee specific exam results or outcomes. To the fullest extent permitted by law, BrightPath Tuition is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of our website or services.

Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or any other liability that cannot be excluded under UK law.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The latest version will always be published on this page with an updated date. Continued use of our services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms where permitted by law.
