Safeguarding is embedded in recruitment, training and daily practice. We follow UK safeguarding guidance for education settings and maintain clear standards for in-person and online tuition.

Safeguarding-first tuition you can trust
Every BrightPath tutor is vetted, trained and supported by clear policies. Parents can raise concerns directly with our designated safeguarding lead.
DBS-checked tutors
Every tutor undergoes an enhanced DBS check before working with students. Checks are renewed in line with our policy and recorded centrally.
Professional communication
All tutor–student communication uses approved channels. Tutors do not contact students privately outside scheduled sessions. Parents receive copies of formal correspondence.
Parent updates & transparency
Monthly progress updates keep parents informed academically. Any wellbeing concern is escalated promptly to our designated safeguarding lead.
Attendance & welfare
Accurate attendance records are maintained. Unexpected absences trigger parent contact. Persistent non-attendance leads to a welfare conversation.
Reporting concerns
Staff, students and parents can report concerns at any time. All reports are handled confidentially, documented and acted upon without delay.
